In my narrative class at NYU, I learned how to code in Inform, which produces text adventures. Our assignment was to use lines of no longer than tweet length (so if it seems overbrief at times, this is why). But A Night's Work has remained one of my best games, about a thief breaking into a wizard's house. I have almost completed a sequel.

To just play the game, select "play in browser" after clicking "start here". To download it (it can be opened with Glulxe), select that option instead.

If you're not familiar with text adventures, try typing in 'i' for 'inventory', and 'x cat' or 'examine cat' to look at the cat. Also, "SAVE" and "RESTORE" are your save and load options.
